As the sun sets, the marble of colors blanket the canvas of arguably one of the most well acclaimed recreational buildings at the University of Florida. The Southwest Recreation center is a 140,0000 Sq ft facility which houses six indoor basketball courts, which can also be used as indoor volleyball courts, pickle ball courts, badminton courts; and during special occasions, really big dance courts/floors. It boasts of a 15,000 sq ft two-floor cardio area with a 1/9 of a mile indoor track. It also houses 6 indoor racket ball courts which can also be used as wallyball courts. All in all, this place is huge! Not to mention the strength training area which is 14,000 sq ft big, full of state of the art machines and pristine looking weights.
